Morning sessions will be active based training. Attendees will be split into two groups. Group one will participate in Active Shooter Response/Movements while group two will attend Traffic Stop/Vehicle Close Quarter Combat. At approximately 10:30, the groups will rotate sessions to the opposite. Both sessions may involve force on force training. Sim rounds may be used in scenarios.

All who attend this training will be subject to search prior to the training beginning.

NO LIVE WEAPONS are allowed during the training. (Weapons = Guns, knives, tasers, chemical agents, striking weapons, etc.)

Equipment needed – flashlights, radio, entry gear, duty gear/equipment. Clear safety glasses are required. Protective masks and sim guns will be provided during scenarios.

Dress: all first responders should dress how they would typically arrive to a normal work assignment. Example unform/BDUs/or other types of training clothing. Training will be indoor/outdoor so dress accordingly.

Lunch will be provided back at the Environmental Learning Center at Caldwell Park at approximately noon. Free will donation.

Afternoon session will be combination classroom/active based.
